""The Blues is like salt, it's everywhere..." (Roosevelt Sykes)

"The Blues is the school for all music..."(Bill Deraime)

"In my mind, everything I ever do is rooted in the Blues..." (Duke Robillard)

"What they call Rock'n'Roll is really the Blues..." (John Lee Hooker)

These quotes from some of the greatest Blues musicians really summarize the spirit of PIWYWI, to whom Groove and Swing are key.

Their band's name being the acronym of a song by The Crusaders , « Put It Where You Want It» , the 4 experienced musicians skillfully create music which is both tinted with Jazz and some Rock from the purest tradition of American combos.

The best proof of this lies in the very diverse horizon formed by the group members' eclectic musical backgrounds : some come from Jazz, Swing and French Chanson, others from Folk, Blues, Rock or Funk - and all those differents labels mix and unite in perfect symbiosis, reminding us that whatever the music style, the Blues is never far away.

Their repertoire features well-known songs from the Beatles or Wilson Pickett (to name but a few), but also lesser-known jewels borrowed from such artists as Duke Robillard or Rockin Jimmy and the Brothers of the Night, as well as a couple of original compositions.
